EYBA - A message to our community regarding COVID-19

To the EYBA Community

As we are all aware, the situation surrounding COVID 19 and its global impact are in a constant state of flux. Currently many organizations worldwide are acting to take caution.  The care and well being of our families and community at large is our first and foremost priority.

The EYBA is monitoring everything closely and have been communicating regularly with both the Ontario Baseball and the Toronto Baseball Association. We are also in contact with the City of Toronto, Parks and Recreation department.  Furthermore, we have reached out to our sourced facilities at MLS and BDG to discuss the protocols they have implemented to ensure our families safety.

Therefore, based on the strong recommendation by the aforementioned governing bodies and the current atmosphere of being diligent to protect our community at large, we have decided to cancel all baseball programs until April 6th.

To reiterate, the safety of our members as well as our community is of utmost importance to us. We are asking once again that we all monitor our own personal situation and reduce the risk of spreading the virus.  EYBA will continue to update this fluid situation as more information is received as we continue to monitor the situation vigilantly.
