2024 House League Registration

Hi East York Baseball Families,

Thank you all for an amazing 2023 season. We saw lots of great baseball, many new and improving skills, and some amazing team sportsmanship.

The preparation for the 2024 season got underway almost as soon as the 2023 season closed. Our Rep & Select Teams completed their tryouts in the fall and are excited to get their off-season training underway in the new year. Next up is our registration for the 2024 House League season.

On that note, registration for the 2024 House League season will be as follows:

Returning Players – November 18^th, 2023 @ 12:00pm
(Must have played in the 2023 House League Season.)

Open for all – November 25^th, 2023 @ 12:00pm

We would like to draw your attention to the Player Request Policy as published on the website. Please review in advance of registering your player to avoid disappointment.

Volunteers
Our league is only possible with the wonderful efforts of members of our community who volunteer alongside us. Your dedication ensures the East York community is richer for having a strong baseball association as an anchor for our youth. Some of our long-time volunteers are moving on and we are seeking more volunteers to assist us and join our team of dedicated executives. We also have a few vendor positions that we are asking for people to present a proposal to assist us next season.

Convenors
We are looking for convenors & co-convenors to assist us in running all divisions in the house league program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the teams are formed fairly and assisting in the running of their division throughout the season.  If interested, please contact Craig Colby (VP of House League) at the following email craigcolby6@gmail.com.

Snack Bar Co-ordinator
We would like to thank our long-time Snack Bar Coordinator, Monica Peters, for her many years of service & dedication.  Monica is stepping down this year and we are looking for one or more individuals to take in this role. As you all know, the snack bar at East York is the crown jewel of our operation and its existence is what allows the club to maintain the fields, pay for umpires, and ensure our registration fees are kept as low as possible. Monica is assisting in finding her replacement(s) and would be happy to talk more about it with interested individuals. This is a part-time vendor position. Sponsorship Coordinator
The low cost of house league is only possible through the generosity of the community and we are always grateful for their support. We currently looking for a new sponsorship coordinator to join our team and assist us in once again securing the sponsorship needed for a successful season. This is a part-time vendor role and any interested parties should contact Michael Clarke at: 01coachmike@gmail.com Submissions are due by Dec 1^st, 2023.
