Opening Day on Saturday, May 27th & House League Updates

Opening Day – Saturday May 27th
The official start to the season is almost here. Saturday May 27^th is our big Opening Day celebration. All 52 House League teams will play in 8 hours and the park will be buzzing with excitement!

Please check the schedule or check with your coaches for your game time. All players will receive a treat after the game as well.

Uniforms are arriving this week, and all teams should have them for Opening Day. Your coaches will receive information from your convenors and will keep everyone updated. We are thrilled to see all the team colours and sponsors displayed throughout the park.

Snack Bar
The snack bar will be opening on Saturday. We will have our amazing hot dogs, and all the treats! Just for Saturday, we will also run the BBQ and will have peameal bacon and burgers.

EY Swag
We will have an area for EY Swag sales on Saturday. There are hoodies, ¾ zips, and t-shirts. Sizes and quantities are limited so come early. There are no pre-sales.

Park Experience
We want to remind all players, coaches, parents, family members and friends that we consider safety a high priority. To that end, we ask that you please DO NOT CROSS THE FIELD. For everyone’s safety, please walk around the diamonds.

Upcoming Events:

Skills Days - All House League participants in 13U and younger are invited to participate in the House League Skills Days. These skills days on June 3 & 10 are included in your registration. This will take place at Stan Wadlow Park on fields 2, 3, 4 & 5.

6U thru 9U will have their skills event from 8:00am - 10:00am.
11U and 13 will have their skills event from 10:00am - 12:00pm.

Photos Week – June 26-29
Your team and individual photos will be taken on the night you play. The exact scheduled time will be posted closer to the date.

Canada Day Parade – July 1
Did you every want to walk in a parade? Join EYBA in walking in the East York Canada Day Parade. We march from Dieppe Park to Stan Wadlow Park. You just need to wear your EYBA uniform or EYBA swag and cheer! Mark your calendars to join in the fun.

Jumpstart’s Play to Lead Program
The Play to Lead program's focus is to enable high school-aged female participants from low-income families to be leaders in sport and through sport. The program offers unique experiences for participants to build leadership skills, grow their networks, have exposure to female role models in sport and build relationships with like-minded peers all while having fun!
